MiRo & Co started where many of the best parenting ideas do: in a darkened room, on my phone, during those long contact naps with my youngest. While on maternity leave, I found myself constantly searching for breastfeeding clothes that felt like ‘me’, pieces that were  stylish and affordable without losing the practicality I needed.

When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I decided to create it.

The name MiRo is deeply personal to us; it’s a blend of my two children’s names and a nod to the native New Zealand Miro tree. Just as the Miro tree provides a home and food for the kererū, I wanted this brand to be a place of support for other parents.

What began as a late-night project has grown into a curated collection of essentials. Whether it’s something we’ve designed ourselves or a piece from a brand we trust, every item is chosen because it makes the journey of parenthood a little easier and more beautiful.
